Why I Write This
Mental illness in Kenya carries a heavy stigma. Many people suffer in silence because they don’t know what they’re experiencing has a name, a known cause, and effective treatment.
I’ve seen patients who waited years to seek help because a neighbour told them to pray harder. I’ve sat with families who thought their loved one was bewitched when they were experiencing a first psychotic episode. I’ve spoken to students who thought anxiety was just weakness.
This website is my contribution to changing that – one clear, honest article at a time. No sales. No sponsorships dressed as clinical advice. Just education that respects your intelligence and your right to understand your own mind.
